Welcome all customers old and new! Here at Captain Jacks, we take great pride in providing the highest standards of customer service.

Lighting Solutions
We specialize in making bespoke light kits for various modelling applications. We started out by designing kits for radio control models of all types, static and exhibition models, model train layouts and dolls houses to name just a few. In the seven years that we have been developing our products, we've advanced to regularly supply precision specialist model makers employed by architectural firms and major movie studios both within the UK and USA. We also continue to supply light kits for model clubs and stores worldwide.

The light kits shown on our website are "standard kits" in that they are based on popularly requested configurations. However most of our work remains bespoke, so please get in touch if you can't see exactly what you need in the store. We can work from either a description, rough sketch or working drawing to design and build the best set for your requirements.

We try to keep prices as low as possible for all of our customers - purchasing directly from us helps us to do this. We're happy to discuss discounts for bulk orders.

We're a friendly, family run business, and always happy to help. We have many contacts within the RC model industry, and can often also help you obtain various hard to find spare parts. Feel free to ask and we'll do our best to help.

All of our kits are handmade by us in our workshop in 
West Bromwich, West Midlands UK.

 The kits shown on the site are popularly requested configurations, however most of our work is bespoke and produced to order.

Delivery 

All sets are dispatched within 2 working days, and normally reach all UK destinations within 2 to 3 working days.
Delivery time varies for worldwide orders, but is normally 5 to 10 working days.

Please allow a little extra time during the busier shopping times in the year, to allow for both production and any postal delays.

All orders, especially the bespoke work, is added to the production sheet and manufactured on a first come first served basis. We try to get all orders made asap, but won't sacrifice quality for production speed.

For buyer protection, we only accept Paypal for international transactions, but accept postal order and personal cheque from within the United Kingdom.
