Welcome all customers old and new! Here at Captain Jacks, we take great pride in providing the highest standards of customer service.

Lighting Solutions
We specialize in making bespoke light kits for various modelling applications. We started out by designing kits for radio control models of all types, static and exhibition models, model train layouts and dolls houses to name just a few. In the seven years that we have been developing our products, we've advanced to regularly supply precision specialist model makers employed by architectural firms and major movie studios both within the UK and USA. We also continue to supply light kits for model clubs and stores worldwide.

The light kits shown on our website are "standard kits" in that they are based on popularly requested configurations. However most of our work remains bespoke, so please get in touch if you can't see exactly what you need in the store. We can work from either a description, rough sketch or working drawing to design and build the best set for your requirements.

We try to keep prices as low as possible for all of our customers - purchasing directly from us helps us to do this. We're happy to discuss discounts for bulk orders.

We're a friendly, family run business, and always happy to help. We have many contacts within the RC model industry, and can often also help you obtain various hard to find spare parts. Feel free to ask and we'll do our best to help.

We regularly have many genuine special offers and deals that you'll struggle to find anywhere else on-line (and occasionally the odd freebie!), and many of our products are unique to us.

We specialize in the production and supply of LED light kits, which have many uses. Our kits are most commonly used by modellers, and are a popular add-on for many radio control models and exhibition models.

We only use the best components, jointing materials and circuit construction to ensure that we provide high quality light kits that if used correctly, will give many years of reliable use.

You may know that there are other sellers who may charge more (especially when you take into consideration the postage), for products that may not be of such good quality. As stated in our listings, we are great fans of modelling and radio control, and so know exactly what we, ourselves, would look for in a quality light kit. For example.....

WE DO NOT:
* Use flimsy or cheap wire to make our kits.
* Use cheap & dim LED lights.
* Run all of the lights off a single resistor.
* Just twist and tape the wiring joints.
* Provide fittings that add extra weight or look out of place on your model.
* Overcharge in any aspect, inclusive of postage and packaging charges.

WE DO:
* Use best quality rigid tinned wire, and the best quality components in our kits.
* Fit a resistor to each individual light unit.
* Solder and heat shrink the jointing where required, so that it lasts.
* Provide lightweight, but good quality fittings for mounting the LEDs.
* Use best quality Ultra Bright High MCD LED's in our kits.
* Offer upgrades and add-ons for each light kit.
* Try to offer a genuine, honest and helpful service to all, with fast delivery on our products.
